There are two constants in the fire service. One being that hose loads need to look tight and the other unfortunately is that manpower will be forever at a shortage. Those two issues come to meet at the tailboard and this item can help bridge the gap. They are nothing new to the fire service and most last a lifetime when issued to a rig or station.

The typical response when someone unfamiliar sees the loader is skepticism and a comment about how loading each stick on the ground is fine. The problems that arise start with air being able to stay in the unrolled hose on the ground and end with losing a body to sort out the hose rather than help pull or fold. You also have much more of a presence in the street whether it be behind the rig or off the transverse when loading unrolled hose. Ultimately, they help load hose cleanly and safely.

These units can be used on 50 foot sections of 4”, 2 1/2”, and 1 3/4” hose. They are designed to last a lifetime with stainless steel hardware, sealed bearings and aluminum bodies.

To personalize these units, use stickermule.com or other sticker ordering apps to have a station logo printed on vinyl for each side. Although custom aluminum cut outs have been made, they do no allow for the best value to be passed to the customer. At this time, we do not offer custom cuts. This price is for the plain 24” units.
